PM files nomination from Varanasi LS seat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has filed nomination from Varanasi for the third consecutive time. Four proponents and Chief Minister Yogi Adithyanath were present with him. The proposers included Ganeshwar Shastri, Baijnath Patel, Lalchand Kushwaha and Sanjay Sonkar. It was Ganeshwar Shastri who had fixed the auspicious time for Ram temple inauguration, while the other three are local BJP leaders.
PM stayed in the nomination room for about 50 minutes. He stood in the room with the proponents. When the District Magistrate asked him to sit on the chair, he sat. PM filed nomination in four sets in the auspicious time of Pushya Nakshatra. Ganeshwar Shastri said that the auspicious time was from 11.40 am to 12.15 pm during all the planets are together.
After filing nomination, PM reached Rudraksh Convention Center and addressed the workers. "I have something to say to all of you. Thank you. You guys did a lot for me", he said. Earlier, the PM reached Dashashwamedh Ghat at 9.30 am from BLW Guest House, where he worshiped Ganga for 20 minutes. Six pundits performed Ganga puja. After performing Aarti, he reached Namo Ghat by cruise. The PM also visited and worshiped at the Kalbhairav temple called Kotwal in Kashi.
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, former Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, LJP (R) chief Chirag Paswan, RLJP national president Pashupati Paras, Apna Dal's Anupriya Patel, ILM national president Upendra Kushwaha. And RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary were present. Soon after, Modi wrote on X: "Very excited to file nomination from Varanasi for the third consecutive time. The wonderful love and blessings that I have received from you all in the last 10 years have inspired me to work with continued service and full determination. With your full support and participation, even in my third term, I will continue to work for the all-round development and welfare of the people here with new energy".
